The standard conversation goes something along these lines: Well, let’s get into the conversations! G: It’s so easy to get around, all the transit B: That’s what I hate about here, you gotta drive everywhere. To deal with my unfortunate habit of sweating a lot en route to these events, I wear a different shirt on my way there, and then when I get there I wipe myself down and then put on the pink shirt.
We meet up in the Kinsmen parking lot, and go for a stroll on the South side of the river.
B: You find one thing in common and start talking about it, and then it’s over. I’m hoping to get a job in the Middle East or somewhere overseas, you know in a couple of years, for whatever, something temporary. B: Yeah, the last couple of years I haven’t really been, I’ve been busy working, but before that I’ve been to Europe a couple of times, Australia, and some of the States. I was pretty young then though, so it was different. She is also pretty, active and intelligent, and I feel some decent chemistry.
B: No, I thought it would be smaller and more low-key. I get busy with work and don’t meet that many people, there’s only so much you can do about meeting a girl at a bar. B: I work for B: Yeah, well the thing I like about it is that it’s global. I bring along a thermos with hot chocolate, and we end up sitting on a bench overlooking the river and drinking hot chocolate as the sun set on the horizon. Overall the conversation is quite enjoyable, and she seems like a really cool girl.
